Should really keep up with this, I know.
My drama team and I have finished shooting our short film 'A Tramp's Worth'.
We wanted to reshoot the first meeting scene and keep the audio from the original shoots. We wanted to do this because there were continuity errors on the orginal takes.
The other problem we had was with the audio because the boom mic didn't work. But we didn't make it a big issue because we're going to use the orginal audio from the previous footage we shot.
Hopefully, the edit will go well and the film should be a success.
Also, my collegue and I went out to take images of the setting for the DVD cover. It went well but there were a couple of people in shot, so that should be sorted in due course.

21st March
Today, my drama team and I did a photo shoot for the DVD cover of our film. There was a few complications with other matters going on, but at the end it went very well.
After the shoot, we went out to our location to do a re shoot of a scene. This I think could have gone better because the audio equipment didn't work, so we had to shoot without it. This means that through out editing, we have to use the original sound from the previous clips we shot. Next time, I have to check the audio before filming.
We also had a meeting with the music student that is doing our score for the film. She loves the film and feels she wants to improve on the music that she's made. We asked her for a couple of add on's to the score and she has agreed to do it. To help her, my team mate, Fiona, is going to send off the final edit of the film to her, so she can figure out what music to create.
For my corporate video, I had to edit the video of Argos performing Queen. This was quite challenging because I'm not used to editing with a team, so I asked alot of the times for their approval of the editing I've done. They really like it sofar. I have to finish it off by putting a song on the video first thing on Friday morning.

16th March Filming Bad Romance
During this day, Argos came to college to shoot the music video of the song Bad Romance by Lady GaGa.
The team and I prepared the studio to look like the set out of the video. We tried the very best we can to make it look right.
Argos came over, we decided to change location because the studio was simply too small, so we vacated to the empty changing rooms that are beside the gym. The workers then dressed in the white wigs and glasses fro their parts.
The first part of the shoot went really well. I did, again, feel nervous because I wanted the angles to look right and the workers had different ideas for angles that weren't in the shot list. But the angles that they came up with worked.
After the first part, they decided to vacate back to the studio for the last part because they had hats.
Before we started, I had trouble setting up the lighting, so I asked for assistance for this part. So what I need improving is setting up and knowing the lighting again.
The last part of the shoot went very well. We have top edit the video this week and give it in on Friday I think. Just hope Argos like it.

Wednesday 14th March
What happend today.
James had a look through my Digital Media report. Went very well but got to do some more tweaking to it in order to get higher marks.
My drama team and I went out filming our short film. We thought we could experinment by using two cameras but unfortunantly the second camera had zebra mode (we thought there was something wrong with it at first, which is the reason why we didn't use it). We also experinemted by using Lavalier Mics. But again, we couldn't use them because the sound came out terribly. So we stuck with the Boom Mic.
Filming then came out successfully with some good shots. But what I think could of gone better was organising and testing the equipment more, before filming.

9th March: Filming 'A Tramp's Worth'
My drama group have began shooting our short film in the town of Stafford, behind the library.
Through out filming, we checked the white balance and audio at all times and made sure the angles were correct. There were times of where we added shots to make the film affective, so I hope they work.
Shooting went very well. We now haven't got much to shoot but we want to do a couple of re shoots because of background noise or angles etc. But it shouldn't be a problem.

Today, March 7th
Today, in Digital Media Production, we went through Design Layouts with areas, grids, ratio, golden ratio. To be honest, I struggled a bit with understanding the golden ratio, but with more explanation, I think I got the hang of it. All of this will be in my report.
My team and I have sorted out the paper work for our short film we're making. The paper work is a success and we discussed when we want to film and there is agreement and we start early Friday morning. Woohoo! :)

Saturday, Argos Filming
On Saturday, my corperate video team and I went to Argos headquaters at Acton Gate. We had to film the workers performing a Run DMC music video in one of their wherehouses.
Filming went very well because we really focused on making the shots look good and I felt we had more communication with the workers. I also felt that we helped eachother out more. Hopefully, the footage will come out just as good.
Here are some images of behinde the scenes of the video.
